Hoping and waiting for the day
Where you tell me what you've wanted to say.
Wishing and thinking that you love me,
When will we realise our destiny?

Don't let it be too soon
When you sweep me off the moon.
But don't let it be too late
Because I might already have a date.

Don't forget what they say about the young, That they don't understand and that they're dumb.
But if you wait till we're old
Our feelings might just get cold.

Everything we think and feel
Will all soon be revealed.
Maybe one day we'll see the light,
And rainy days will turn bright.
