You Broke My Heart

You broke my heart that cloudy day,
I thought we would never end
The problem with us I could never work out
but I hope you're still my friend.
No words could express
the feeling in me
the sorrow, the loneliness.
All I have are memories when I stare into your eyes
Photo frames line the walls
inside of my mind.
You were the one,
The only one in which I thought I could trust
but I guess all things go old
like metal covered with rust.

You have moved on now,
you're with another girl
How could I let you down?
Why did I allow?
I guess I got caught up in my dreams
I was thinking to far ahead.
I let our love grow tattered
like a stale piece of bread
but I'll never stop loving you
I know I never will
for deep inside my heart
you are with me still
