We are told to follow our dreams
To live life to the fullest
We sew up the loose seams
Paint our life master piece because we are the artist
We leave our mark
These are the memories they will not forget
But then it goes dark
When we leave, we hope we have no regret
In an instant, it is all taken away
One moment you are here and the next gone
Wishing that you said what you needed to say
The end is dawn
Eventually we die
A bittersweet goodbye
