An ache, some drugs, a day in bed,
Sore throat and head and being fed,
More meds please, don’t tease,
I just want the pain to go away.
A frock, a lock, some Dvd’s,
A snort, a cough and disease.
It’s just one day, filing away,
A day as Doc Lock.
Here you are dear Jennifer,
don’t differ, Your next appointment.
I won’t Sir, you can rely,
On me and good time.
A sun closing, a practice too,
An empty house, the day is through.
No one home, the kitchen bear,
Drift to sleep to blackness. A Day as Doctor Lock.
