Your Absence

Through the murky visionless spring days,
Into the bitter distant winter nights,
Travelling through the endless autumn maze,
And around the blistering summer lights
I will be missing him eternally,
Why does this love feel almost forbidden?
Though love is killing us internally,
My love for him shall not be hidden
I rise each day with his voice in my mind,
And drown each night with his touch in my soul,
Awaiting our day to forever unwind,
Dreaming our lives, together as one whole
Yet his tender smile fills the sorrow in my heart,
In hope for us to meet, never again be apart.
