Excellence Award in the 'Step Write Up 2011' competition
He was a famous superstar.
He drove the fanciest, fastest car.
I seem to want to do the same
And live that stunning life in fame.
Please, please don't make that huge mistake.
It's quite a large risk for you to take.
You'll lose all contact with your friends.
Don't make a wrong turn 'round that bend.
This comes from the bottom of my heart,
You make that choice you'll fall apart.
I now understand what he said
Instead of things that I have read.
I know that fame is not how it seems,
A shining light or perfect dream.
I know that fame looks really great
But it can be a big mistake.
