The door was flung open, as we went inside
There was no-one there, except me and my bride
Then there was a crash, and a young women's cry
I ducked to the ground, and told my love to hide
I don't know why she didn't listen to me
She walked away slowly, absent-mindedly
The front door slammed shut, closing off the entry
The night was about to get very scary
An evil laugh echoed from the roof to the floor
It shattered the glass windows all throughout the hall
I slowly stood up, and moved towards the door
I tried at the door handle. Locked. Then I saw...
The aisle was empty, my love was not there
I was suddenly overcome with despair
The laugh echoed again, I hid behind a chair
I prayed to God that it was only a nightmare
