I feel soft wind caress my face as I stand, alone in my pain
For life was left in tatters and with nothing left to gain
Yet still I dwell in wait for you, return my life to me!
To heal the wounds your parting left, let me again be free

For as I stand in this world of grey
I remember what used to be
When the air was filled with the beauty of
Your song’s sweet melody

From times gone by, it echoes strong
In haunting harmony
With love and hurt, with joy and pain
Your voice entwines, forever be

I feel soft wind caress my face as I close my eyes and smile
Let it sweep away the pain and regret, the anger and denial
Though upon the wind your eternal song has always rode with me
I silence it now, for to let you go is the only way to be free
