Excellence Award in the 'Step Write Up 2011' competition
Soft brown fur,
Glistening in the dew of early morning
The ground flies under the feet of living freedom,
As the wind whipped chocolate brown mane
Following they’re four footed brethren
They flow like the rivers they cross,
They run in the lands they were born to behold
Untamed by ropes or chains,
They gallop till the blazing light goes over the everlasting plains,
Until the silvery moon reflects their starlit shining eyes
As they lift their heads to the moon and wait of the following days to come.
Untold stories and plains of purity flash in their eyes,
Ones, of everlasting adventures,
Of undiscovered rivers and streams,
The realm that lays mystical,
To the world of arrogance and greed
The word that freedom belongs to,
The word on the lips that cannot speak,
