Excellence Award in the 'Step Write Up 2011' competition
With a minute to go, I have to score.
The crowd begin to yell and roar.
We're two points down, we need to win,
But then I fall and hit my shin.
I see the ball, so up I get,
I shoot the ball like a jet.
In it goes for two more,
The game is even, it is a draw.
Someone fouled me, knocked my hand,
I have two free shots I need to land.
One goes in like a swish,
But the other misses by a bliss.
I love basketball, it is fun.
And best of all, my team won!
