A Children’s film,
The big purple dinosaur Barney,
Singing, laughing, dancing,
Memories…

The old cinema,
The buttery taste of popcorn,
Singing, laughing, dancing,
Memories…

Surrounding lights twinkling,
Golden stars on the carpet,
Singing, laughing, dancing,
Memories…

The happy sparkle in my eyes,
My brown curly hair flying,
Singing, laughing, dancing,
Memories…

The 4-year-old energy,
Dwelling inside me,
Singing, laughing, dancing,
Memories…

I have memories from long ago,
Wayback when I was little,
Before I learned to tie my shoes,
And my bones were small and brittle
