Tears

Some things just make you hurt,
Some things just make you cry,
And some things just bring a tear to your eye,
Everyone drops a tear from their eyes once in their life,
Everyone drops a tear from their wounds sometimes,
The things that make us do this can be good or bad,
Sometimes we trip on our shoe lace,
Sometimes we lose our grip on life,
And we fall to the rocky ground far below,
Most of the time we get straight back up and start climbing the face of the cliff,
But other times we land all wrong and we can’t get up,
It can take just a day to get better to start the climb back home,
Or it may take even 4 months just so you can sit back up.
And when we finally get back up there it feels so good,
But why do we try to get back home when we know that we will just fall back down?
