The evil bug
Once ago there lived an evil bug,
That was about to rule a place (a dead tree, a log),
And always wanted one day,
For his tribe to say,
‘We love you, we need you, be our king’,
And would dance to it, and that they would sing,
But all he needed to do,
Was convince that his blood was true,
He had to be loyal and trusted,
He couldn’t do bad things and be busted,
And when the day came,
He couldn’t be shamed,
Convincing the bugs that came,
That he was not insane,
So the bugs did say,
‘we love you, we need you, be our king’,
And they gave the king a special ring,
And then the clouds went dark,
Things started to spark,
The bug laughed out loud,
“You fools I’m McLeod”,
The crowd gasped, whispering to each other,
‘He’s the evil bug, almighty’s brother,
The bugs ran and scream,
Trying not to be seen
But then everything shook,
And everyone looked,
Lots of water was rushing towards them like a stampede of animals,
And only the evil bug got washed away from all the animals,
And standing behind them was almighty with pride,
They clapped and cheered and some of them cried,
Almighty saved the day,
And everyone was happy and okay.
