A mother is someone who loves me unconditionally
A person to look up to and means everything to me
She’s the one who I can talk to because she’s always there
The one person who I sometimes forget to let them know that I care
So Mother’s Day is the day when I open up my heart
To the person who raised me, from the very start
So mum today, I hope you hear my blessing
My unconditional love for you I am confessing
Mother and daughter, side by side, you and me together
I will always love you today, tomorrow and forever.
