A white rose
Laid upon the ground.
A white rose
Added to the mass of flowers
Covering his resting place.
Never to be woken,
No more words to be spoken,
No more fights to be fought,
No more lessons to be taught.
A white rose
Laid upon your grave.
A white rose to honour his final race;
won and lost.
May you rest in peace
Day after day.
