Rainy night
Its night time, I wake up from the
Sounds of the dripping rain,
The rain is dripping slowly down my window pane.
I am sitting on my bed as I imagine what it
Would be like to be out, I’m filled with exhilaration I feel I need to scream and shout.
Gradually, during the night, I built up the
Courage to walk outside,
As I slowly walk outside, the rain and I finally collide.
I open my mouth to taste the cool and clear rain,
I can see the rain slowly trickling down the
Drain.
If you listen closely you can hear the frogs enjoying the midnight rain.
People think I’m weird but I don’t care
I know I’m sane,
I lay on the wet grass, as I look
at the moon.
I have to go inside soon.
My hair is dripping wet,
It wont rain like this for a
while, I bet
I walk back inside, I leave small puddles as I walk inside and up the stairs.
Before I go to bed I look outside one more
time, the stars were so bright like flares.
I feel so happy and I can’t explain,
I can’t wait till it rains again.
