The End Of A Journey

We’ve shared the tears, we’ve shared the triumphs
We’ve grown up by each others side.
We always said, almost since the beginning,
That together we would reach the end.
Now the end is almost here, and our futures are unclear,
But there is one thing we can be sure of.
This journey that we shared, will touch our souls forever,
Set out to find ourselves, on the way we found each other.
The laughter that we shared, will echo even after
We’ve gone our separate ways.
The question that is burning on my mind,
Will we still have then, what we have now?
You reassure that we will, but I am not quite sure,
And I really don’t want to lose this.
So let’s make the most of it now,
Before it’s time to say goodbye, and move on.
