Tears Of Goodbye

My smile turned upside down
The tears poured down my cheeks
As I heared the bad news of my Nanna's passing
I faced my fears of death
Over-coming a strength I did not know
I went dizzy at first
Then regained my composure
I struggled to see through my tears
My mind set so far away
My heart pounding in a way I could not show
I felt like I had bad luck or something
Maybe it was not meant to be known
I lost my breath and fell on the bed
And just lied there
I closed my eyes to await the day
We had to say our last goodbyes.
