3rd in the 'Calling All Poets 2007' competition
The dark veil of the night glided over Moonfall Crescent,
As if he was a silhouetted pastel,
Melting into the night.
Purposely passing gloom to lady life as expected,
There was no heart only loneliness.
The vague shadow slowly strutted down the lifeless struggling alleyway,
In the distance a small weak creature approached in delusional desperation.
Frightfully the creature lunged at me in agony.
I awoke from my traumatizing nightmare,
Or was it a warning of the foreseen future?
I let my emotion fireworks display die down.
How was this only a vision of the imagination?
