The last piece of the puzzle
is found under the table.
As it is put on,
the picture will never be the same, the same.
The next page to a story of life
Unpredictable, unknown. What is next
nobody, nobody, nobody knows
Until the page is turned.
The truck is here.
The horn blares at a rude car.
The child in the back seat clutches his Lego,
Unseen by the driver
Because of the boxes in between.
Silently a tear gracefully glides down his cheek
It is time, it is time to move on
The page has been turned.
