As sunset falls
Darkness hiding all the flaws
Red crosses, spilt red wine
That stood out like big stop signs

Cool stars shimmer and sparkle
Neon lights glow
Bright bright fires crackle
Melting away unwanted snow

Waking to the sound of boots
Catching a glimpse of Santa's suit
Shining brightly was Rudolph's nose
A dark red crimson rose

The colour of love
The colour of blood
The colour of danger
The colour of anger

I saw red
