Lest We Forget

The story of a child, forced to grow up and become a man
He dreams of accolades and glory
But all he will get in exchange for his great sacrifice
Is an honourable way to die
This is the story of a war we dream of winning
A war that’s only just beginning
Lest we forget
We send our children out to die
We make them enlist, to help save the family pride
But in the end they stand alone
They stand to arms
They fall not to a war we cannot win, but to
The pain and death that never cease
When they fall, and when they die
They dream for peace.
