Darkness And Light

As I speak of Grandpa
Deep in my heart I cry
It's like a little blackness
Darkening up the sky
Even though he's one man
And there is a billion in the world
It's like the darkness us unfolding
And has nearly been unfurled
Yet somewhere in the darkening sky
There is a little light
I guess it's Grandpa's little star
Small yet very bright.
