I walk through the endless tracks
Where dingoes live in packs,
With the sound of gum tree leaves
Rustling in the cool breeze.
I hear the sweet melodies of birds,
But the howls of enemies making them scared.
As darkness falls,
The gloomy walls,
Of my sheltering tent,
Shows shadowy creatures moving past the vent.
In the morning I hear the kettle boil,
And scaly snakes starting to coil.
Each animal starts to wake up,
And I can hear the cute yaps of a baby pup.
Animals are seen thin or round,
Until it is finally home-ward bound!
