All the children know,
They watch and they go
It's beautiful, it's undeniable
They fly at night, they cry at dawn
Their secrets told,
With a hasty yawn
They flutter in flight,
They sigh and they shy,
They call the names of the hidden shadows
They bring them out, they take them for prey
They roll in the dusk, they dance, they bask
The magic of dreams, of neurotic thoughts, of nonsensical lines
Of the story, of the tale
Of an overburdened mind,
And a heart, a heart
That for a moment in time, was light.
