Voices That Mock

Go ahead and mock me,
With mocking laughter that causes pain,
Go ahead, laugh, I don’t care,
Or thats what you think,
On the inside I’m dying,
Someone save me, please,
I’m drowning, drowning in pain,
Drowning and I’m almost out of breath.
Are you here to save me?
No, you are here to join the voices that mock.

And you who have never heard those words that kill,
You too may join the voices if you heard them,
So because of them; you I will not trust.
Why did I not trust you? You who deserved it,
Now you have my trust, you may have just saved human kind from me.
