Parked Car

Blue sand, yellow skies
It’s the place of upside down
No waves, just the water
Still as a parked car.
Only 2 legs and 2 arms
5 fingers on each hand,
with the sun’s eyes on me
like I am a star and it is a telescope.
Half a breath and a whole heart
Distracted mind and fresh air
I sink into the warmth,
Like a brick in a pool.
Blue sand, yellow skies
