Raining On A Sunday

Watching rain drops on my window,
tapping to the beat.
I sit on my ledge to curl up my toes and bare feet.
Observing as the clear grey sky,
reflects my now clear grey mind.
Cos It's raining on a sunny summer Sunday,
and I'll deal with my problems on that Monday,
but right now I'm gonna sit right here and listen to the sound of the water tapping.
Not gonna worry about deadlines cos soon I'll be napping,
Cos I know the rain will cease to drop,
But I'll be sleeping before the tapping stops.
