Never Be Lucky In Love

The feeling of love, the likeness of falling off a cliff.
And you decide to take a plunge.
And only can you accept its charming ways if,
Your heart can soak up love like a sponge.
With your heart all a flutter when in view,
Of your crush, the hero of your dreams.
At first love, the feelings are new.
So you learn love's not easy as seems.
He flashes simple smiles your way, you blush.
Your face goes as red as tomatoes.
But to be true, it's all to much a rush.
He ignores you and you're left to your woes.
You'll never be in matrimony or even in wealth.
You won't be lucky in love, but at least you've got your health.
