Going Nuts

Most people think it's not that bad,
But allergies can drive you mad!
Who knew that it could knock me dead
To eat some peanut paste on bread?
And other nuts are deadly too,
So keep away with those cashews!
Almonds have a nice aroma,
But they would put me in a coma.
Were there walnuts in that cake I ate?
I'll see you up in heaven, mate.
I'd never eat a pecan pie,
Unless I had a wish to die.
I kid you not! This is no joke!
Just one small crumb, and I could croak.
I may get cured but until then,
My best friend is my Epipen.
