One Really Big Afflict

The apple was round and ripe, just waiting to be picked,
Whilst a bucket sat in the corner, waiting to be kicked,
And we just sat there waiting, wondering what’s the verdict,
Well our entire lives have been one really big afflict,
We haven't many good's, and our hair is never slicked,
With nothing to fight over we very rarely do conflict,
We all just play together; I am always the "convict",
I always seem to do the things they never would predict.
And when I go to school some days, the rules are rather strict,
My teacher's always ask me why they have to contradict,
But helping out my parents means my learning's quite restrict,
And when I do a test I don't get very many ticked.
Although I'm poor and hungry, not a penny have I nicked,
Even the landlord's out of money, now we're the ones he will evict,
And although we have no place to live, we'll stay in the district,
Just like I said before, our lives are one really big afflict.
