The phones shout,
And the headphones blare.
The keyboards moan,
And at their screens they stare.
Their faces blank an dull,
As their laptops beep and ping.
A world that is "connecteted"
Withought anyone really connecting.
I look at them sitting,
And see no hopes or thoughts at all..
Just kids who are bored -
Sitting by the just as bored football.
I think about our society,
And the effort and genius it took.
While the girls in tight skirts,
Think about their new photo for Facebook.
