The deafening sounds of the roaring bullets
Troops of soldiers falling as they run
Screaming people and shellshock
Blood painting the poppies making them red
Widows and children in hiding calling for help
Children trying to wake up their mothers
As soldiers greet death and fly away
Troops killing their brothers in arms
Battles of domination taking over
Blood being poured everywhere
The danger they have taken the risks that they have made
Soldiers protecting their pride more than their lives
Troops forgetting about their families
Leaving the past behind
As the war goes on and blood is shed
All that is left is dust and rubble
