Finalist in the 'Legendary 2012' competition
We may be small though we have big hearts
Our brains are filled with working parts
We think big, we think little, then we think about you
Did you ever, probably never, ever think about being two?
Ever think about birds, ever think about trees,
Or the way the wind blows and catches the breeze?
Did you think about stars, did you think about the moon?
Did you think about mars, or planets shaped like balloons?
Because I know for a fact,
Adults lock up their imagination, keep quiet and teach a lot about hesitation.
We all want to know for a fact, do you actually have colors, or do you lack?
All the kids around the world, need adults to help understand
You have lived longer than us, so we need a helping hand
Please listen, please share, please tell stories, don't stare
We aren't strange cause you were once us,
And the joy in our hearts makes us not negative, but plus
