You don’t have to be beautiful
You don’t have to be wonderful
You just have to be your true self
Around me.
I just want to be there with you
Every step of the way.
When I was young I didn’t think I was beautiful
But now I know I just want someone to
Remind me.
Don’t be mean
Don’t be naughty
Uh uh I don’t think so baby
I won’t let you down
As long as you don’t baby.
I’ve always wanted someone whose
Truthful
I’ve always wanted someone whose
Funny and makes me laugh.
When you come along
I’ll be ready to sing my song
Hoping you will like it
And hoping I will like yours.
