Unknown Struggles

She sits in the dark all alone
To the world she is unknown.
She’s looking puzzled, in a daze
The smoke filled room creates a haze.

Nobody knows her struggles
They only see the troubles.
Her heart aches to expose the truth
About the lost years of her youth.

Her thoughts are so inhumane
That they are driving her insane!
She doesn’t know how to cope
But there will always be that false sense of hope.
