The Fake

The smile beared upon her face,
Her life’s predicted and awful fate,
A world that’s left in such a mess,
An awful life she must confess,

The way she fakes her life per day,
Will slowly cause her soul decay,
The smile hides the pain, the fears,
The tragedy’s created over the years,

Inside she displays a mental death,
Life that leads her to her final breath,
Questioning life and questioning the dead,
Her inner demon inside is being fed,

No longer can she pretend to be strong,
The happiness a note she can’t reach in a song,
Inside she’s broken and full of lies,
Happiness can’t be reached as much as she tries,

An open wound a gaping hole,
A broken heart, a deathly soul,
A mental prison in despair,
The world that would never care,
