The fresh air kissed my face
I welcomed the sun in a warm embrace.

With the wind blowing softly against the trees
The peace, the quiet, and the beautiful breeze.

While I  inhaled the warm summer air,
I realised that these moments are very rare.

When you're out in a field of green and blue
I was feeling like all my wishes had just come true.

All alone in this place, yet I still felt complete
Hearing only the sound of  my own heartbeat.

I felt like I was flying high up in the air,
There's not a feeling in the world I could compare.

It is times like these when you think back and smile,
Even if it only lasts a little while.
