Just Imagine

Overlooking the sea on a rock it is snowing and her thick dark coat is her only protection.
I feel her pounding heart beat and her piecing green are eyes hunting for her prey.
She licks her damp wet nose; I see her gnashing white teeth. She walks on sure footed and confident with a fierce determination.
The never ending chase begins. A fear striking howl as she has caught a triumphant capture.
A selfless hunger sacrifices as she gives the food to her pups.
As a caring mother she protects them. Time to go to sleep.
