Mistakes

I'm sorry I've made a terrible mistake
I did not watch the pan while i was cooking
I burnt the most expensive steak
But i have learned from it
Please give me another chance

I've made another mistake
In the dark of night
Why do i have to do something wrong
before I'm taught its not right?

I've made too many mistakes
even though I've leaned from them all
at night it keeps me awake
trying to think of a solution

I just need more chances
to make everything right
but being perfect seems so out of sight
I just need to think harder

I remember now that one of my friends said
Is to learn not only from my own
but from other peoples mistakes instead
I have the answer i just need a chance

Now that i know i don't need to spend my life
Worrying all the time about
Trying do discern wrong from right

I know that no one is perfect
and that everyone makes mistakes
even the wisest people
are not perfect at any rate
