Memories

Once, I was your shining pearl,
Sparkling my life in your warming world.

Once, you told me I was beautiful,
My love to you is inescapable.

Once, Crystal tears rolling down from my eyes,
You held me tight, when I cried under the starry sky.

Once, you made me laugh,
Wrapped my body in your blue blanket like scarf.

Once, you pat my head with your old wrinkled hands,
How I wish that could happen again and again.

Once, you lied in the white hospital bed.
“I’ll be ok.” Is all you said…

Once, you left me there with stabbing pain in my heart,
From then on we will be apart.

Once, this place was dancing colourfully,
Now is lifeless, alone and empty.
