What do they mean to you?
To me, everything.
Our past, our present, our future,
Written, recorded, remembered.
Poems, songs, the eternal verses,
Sung and read, burnt into memory,
Words, letters, teeming with meaning,
When decrypted reveal our identity
Our lives, our ideas,
Our achievements, our passions,
Forever to be sung again.
