Dancing In The Darkness

Deserted doorway,
The empty cans of beer crunching under my feet,
The smell of tabacco haunts me,
Chocolate, the darkest glory...

Upstairs,
Grand jeté, arabesque,
The spotlight surrounds me,
Lurid music fills my ears,
I jump, fall...

THUD!
The vision disappears...
My flabby body hits the floor,
Shudder, sigh and sadden
The same routine everyday...

I wish the world would just end,
Iwill never reach my dreams,
I scream and cry in my sleep,
Always alone at home,
Nothing will ever change,
I will be dancing in the darkness;
Forever...
