It's been a truly monotonous day,
and finally the clouds stetch over the earth-creating a warm,soft blanket just for you.
You feel like you're the only one in the world;
the only one lucky enough to witness this warm, cosy feeling.
you are also relieved,
this is what you've been waiting for all day.
excitment bubbles up inside you
this beautiful small gift is what really counts.
its enough.
"It's so worth it" you hear yourself wisper,
the beaty of life
the beauty of living
"it's a gift" the wind whistles back.
you attempt to stay awake by dancing vigorously.
pushing backwards and forth through the rich wind;
but the wind creates a lullaby,
leaving you with no choice but to let yourself rest.
The simple gifts are what count.
