Just a figure in the distant light:
Nails red and sparkling,
Skin a tinted white,
Like a princess; her head held high and smiling,
There she sat,
All eyes on her,
There she sat,
A figure in the distant light.
A pretty gown hangs on her,
All gold with silver specks,
Such beauty.
And there she still sits waiting for her knight,
Nails red and sparkling,
Skin a tinted white,
Just a figure in the distant light.
