Finalist in the 'Far Out 2012' competition
Time to wake up, a new day,
Though I don’t remember the day before;
Fuzzily I bumble.
Then I hear it,
That sinister tapping sound
Bringing out the shadows everywhere.
Must escape, must run away,
Stumbling, fumbling, hobbling
Away from this place.
Why am I running?
Where am I going?
Too many questions.
Who are you?
Weeping, smiling, clutching my hand.
Don’t worry, I’m safe.
