Ode to a Good Read

What brings me comfort, joy and relaxation?
What takes me into a whole new world,
And only stops when I want it to?
What can I dissolve into, bringing me new life?
What allows my imagination to run wild?
Where can I find, a new adventure,
Be free and think whatever I want?
What makes me stay up, deep into the night,
Fighting the urge to succumb to slumber?
What comes in all different shapes and sizes?
What I ask you, gives me all this and more?
My answer to you is, simply, nothing more than
A good read.
