For the history of this land,
Turn sweet which once was bland.
A relationship that needs to renew,
Between the old people and the new.
Tradition and modern, black and white,
Must work together with all their might,
To heal a land that needs a bang,
We'll unite, like yin and yang.
The Islanders, the Indigenous and the British,
Must 'mend the bridge' in order to finish.
The mind of our young,
Their journey has just begun,
For all over Australia we worry,
The Indigenous won't believe we are sorry.
Now, through the rest of creation,
We work together as ONE nation.
