Technology All The Way

Technology is vital in our lives today,
It is the way of the future, most people say.
Making things easier and interesting too,
The world at your fingertips for me and you.
Log on, use the internet and open a saved file,
Parents now complaining, you’ve been on for such a while.
Kids not really caring and still wanting to play,
Pretending to do research or homework, so they say.
Downloading games and music, just for having fun,
Even though the apps are pricy and cost mum a tonne.
Jump, slide, turn, go for a high score on Temple Run,
But soon mum yells ‘dinner time’ so I have to quit all the fun.
Texting to friends regularly, just to keep in touch,
Phones always in our pockets, beeping and such.
Twitter and Facebook are now all the rage,
But must be used wisely if you’re under age.
Ipods, Ipads, Iphones, they are all just fad!
That’s the opinion of my grumpy, old dad.
I thick technology is really here to stay,
And I can’t wait to use it every single day!
