We All Shall Fall

The darkness takes over,
I'm trapped under the sun,
Living out unwanted time,
No words, no way, no heart.

Those that follow become lost,
Those that lead are never found,
The one who questions is turned away
The one who's silenced stays still.

Many I've seen before,
All fallen over time,
Their heartbeats alone cannot save,
Their words unaccompanied will not stay.

When they turn to ask,
Thy shall not answer with faith,
The depths of the darkest oceans
One day we all shall fall.
